It is a small village entirely made of stone, it was built to guard the nearby bridge over the Nera, the village still retains its medieval structure today and its shape is elliptical due to its location on the top of the hill crossed by ancient streets and rapid staircases typical of the architecture of the time. the urban layout is typical of perched castles with a splendid river terrace.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1712746515625{margin-top: 0px !important;margin-bottom: 0px !important;padding-top: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here we find the famous ABBEY OF &#8220;SAINTS FELICE AND MAURO&#8221; from the 7th century AD. It is a place not to be missed. Every year in spring a famous exhibition &#8220;SPRING IN VALNERINA&#8221; is set up right near the ABBEY with more than 50 STAND with medicinal and unusual plants, pelargoniums, peonies, roses, orchids, camellias, fruit trees, horticultural plants, rare plants and saffron.
